Her passion for supporting others stems from her personal journey navigating complex systems while advocating for her daughter’s wellbeing. Drawing from lived experience and formal training in Emotional Memory Pattern Release (EMPR), Brenda provides a safe and supportive space for individuals to explore and better understand their emotional patterns. She works with clients including caregivers, those with disabilities, and individuals facing emotional or situational distress. Brenda’s compassionate approach focuses on self-awareness, personal insight, and reconnection with inner resilience. Her background and intuitive presence enable her to support clients in navigating life’s challenges while fostering clarity and confidence.

    • Trauma-recovery sessions provide a supportive space where you can explore and express your experiences at your own pace. Your first meeting is a discovery session an opportunity for us to get to know each other, talk through your goals and expectations, and decide together whether I’m the right person to support you.
    • Extended trauma-recovery sessions provide a supportive space for self-reflection and self-awareness. Clients are gently guided to explore how trauma has shaped their lives, recognise emotional triggers and responses, and learn practical tools to respond in healthier, more balanced ways.
    • By exploring and gently releasing stored emotions, people often notice greater calm, clarity, and ease in their body. Techniques such as breathwork and bringing mindful awareness to where tension is held for example the heart or stomach can support the natural process of recovery after trauma.
    • Trauma recovery is not limited to emotional and mental well-being; it also relates to how the body holds stress. Chronic stress and unresolved trauma can affect sleep, energy, digestion, and overall vitality. Recovery sessions may include supportive practices such as gentle movement, relaxation skills, and healthy lifestyle tips.

A discovery session offers a gentle starting point to reflect on where you are now, share your goals, and consider the kind of support that may feel right for you. This initial conversation is not about revisiting the past in detail, but about creating a safe, supportive space to explore your next steps. It also provides an opportunity to see if ongoing sessions may be the right fit for your journey.

Trauma Recovery Coaching
Trauma sessions are designed to help individuals process their experiences, find relief from distressing symptoms, and reclaim a sense of control over their lives.
Sessions frequently include teaching and practicing strategies for managing trauma symptoms outside the therapy room. These coping tools may involve: Developing Safety plans, meditation and breathing techniques. Over time, the therapist and client may work on expanding resilience, strengthening social supports, and enhancing self-care routines.
