ABOUT TAMARA
With over 38 years of experience in counselling, personal development, and holistic wellbeing, Tamara has dedicated her career to supporting individuals and families in navigating life's challenges with greater self-awareness, resilience, and connection.
Tamara's journey has included extensive study and training across a range of counselling approaches, mindfulness practices, and complementary wellbeing modalities, alongside a Bachelor of Human Services (Counselling). She may draw on modalities such as breathwork, Shamanic Journey Work, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), and Internal Family Systems, as well as more traditional counselling techniques, including Narrative Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
She has worked with children, parents, and families in both community and private settings, including over seven years working for one of Australia's largest providers in mental health, where she supported families to strengthen relationships through emotionally attuned communication. Grounded in a deep respect for nature, personal growth, and lifelong learning, Tamara provides a compassionate, client-centred approach that encourages individuals to explore their own strengths, gain new perspectives, and create meaningful, lasting change.
