About TRTP (The Richards Trauma Process)
TRTP works by identifying and transforming unconscious core beliefs—those deep, automatic beliefs you formed about yourself, others, and the world, often long before you had the power or words to question them. When these beliefs are negative (like “I’m not enough,” “I’m unsafe,” or “I don’t matter”), they can quietly drive anxiety, people-pleasing, self-sabotage, or emotional shutdown. TRTP helps bring those hidden beliefs into awareness and then changes them into positive, supportive truths that better match who you really are and what you deserve.
A key part of TRTP is empowering the younger you—the part that originally absorbed those painful messages and had to adapt to survive. Instead of staying stuck in old survival roles, you learn to give that younger self what they needed back then: protection, validation, and a sense of worth. This process can shift shame into self-respect and fear into confidence, because you’re no longer living from the wounds of the past—you’re leading from strength, clarity, and compassion.
As those core beliefs change, the future changes with them. TRTP doesn’t just help you “cope” with life; it helps you build a new internal foundation so your choices come from freedom rather than old patterns. When you believe you are safe, capable, and worthy, you naturally set healthier boundaries, communicate more clearly, and pursue goals without being pulled back by invisible limits. In that way, TRTP helps you create a future that reflects your true self—not your past.
