ABOUT ANTHONY
Anthony is a professional counsellor whose contemplative style blends clinical practice with spiritual traditions, philosophy, and a deep sense of curiosity. His work embraces the full spectrum of life’s challenges with honesty and compassion, meeting each person where they are. Working remotely with clients across Australia and overseas, he offers tailored telehealth therapy that honours the depth and diversity of everyday life. With a special interest in supporting couples and families, he also works with individuals, including children, through life’s transitions and other difficult challenges, bringing sincerity, presence, and a thoughtful blend of unique insight and practical skill. Anthony brings significant personal lived experience to his work and maintains a strong interest in both traditional and emerging approaches to trauma, explored through philosophical, scientific, and spiritual perspectives.
His ongoing engagement with research, including Developmental Trauma Disorder (DTD) and emerging Predictive Dissociative Therapy (PDT), reflects the depth of his commitment to understanding the many dimensions of traumatic experience. He approaches trauma work with great care and awareness, recognising that each person’s experience is unique and that no single method offers a universal solution. Rather than relying on a cure-all model, Anthony adopts an eclectic and responsive approach, thoughtfully attuned to the needs of each individual, couple, or family. His work is grounded in the belief that healing often begins with presence, stillness, and a renewed connection between mind, body, and spirit through which deeper purpose and meaning can be rediscovered.
